10th september 2020 - What's your deepest desire?
Last night Mars started its retrograde journey and it's gonna be something really special.
Mars will only ever retrograde when being OPPOSITE the Sun. And since it takes Mars two years to orbit the sun, this actually only happens rarely.
Not only that makes Mars' retrograde so special, but also what energy it represents. Since Mars is completely illuminated by the opposite sun, Mars retrograde is a time of manifestation and rather than a time of rest (as is usual with retrograde planets).
What do we want so badly that we would do everything for it? Where do we feel the deepest anger and what is the cause?
Mars in Aries is double-action Mars and therefore it is pure fire. Here Mars can fully embrace all of its potential and impulses. If he becomes retrograde, he cannot divert these energies, they turn inward instead.
On the one hand, this can create much potential for frustration, because things are not going as planned, projects are fizzling out, things aren't progressing or going differently than planned.
On the other hand, however, Mars retrograde means that we can switch back a few levels, focus and become aware of what we really want and desire from the bottom of our hearts. What do we want so badly that we would do everything for it? Where do we feel the deepest anger and what is the cause?
On our planet things are getting very uncomfortable and unfortunately it always has to be this way before true change can fully happen.
With Mars retrograde, we have two options:
1- to face and confront our desires, our anger and our aggressions and find solutions, or
2-to embrace the unhealthy aspects of Mars energy even more aggressively.
Whatever happens now is extremely important for all of us as a collective.
Mars will once again form squares to Saturn, Pluto and Jupiter during its retrograde, which will once again shed light on the topics of the beginning of the year, only that we have already learned some things and therfore have the chance to push and break through.
